Quality and guidelines
As a honey farm, we abide by not only legal standards, but also the strict guidelines of the German Beekeper Association(DIB).
The DIB-guidelines uphold the high standards of the "
Echter Deutscher Honig"(Real german honey) label, which guarantee healthy and tasty honey.
Our priorities are to produce local, natural honey with a low amount of water.
We as a Beekepers only work with trained colleagues and registered hives, which is why we can guarantee for the quality of our products.
This applies to all our products, no matter which label they are sold under.
We only harvest the honey our bees don't need, which is why we only offer one variety.
In addition, we do not transport our bees to maximize harvest, and instead allow their natural decisions to guide the flavor of our honey.
We have made the experience that this enriches the taste of our honey, even though it also causes variation in taste over different years and harvests.
