The bees are flying - 09.04.2025
For our bees the new year has finally started.
While we are busy prepping, they are already setting course on rich plants.
Sadly, we lost many of our hives over the winter and had to acquire new hives for the start of the year.
While our new bees are still getting comfortable in their home, they seem quite busy scouting out the new terrain.
The honey of 2024 is here! - 11.09.24
Our seasonal honey has finally arrived! You can buy it now, directly from our front door.
Even though this year saw fewer hives, thanks to losses in the winter, we were still able to produce a satisfactory yield.
As the year slowly approaches it's conclusion, we are already preparing our bees for the winter.
Their honey will be sold for the rest of the year, and new candles are also in the works
Our liquid, cold hurled honey is now available!- From 08.09.24 till aproxiamately 11.11.24
Our liquid and unstirred honey is available as long as stock lasts, aproxiamately till 11.11.2024.
This honey is a special, completely untreated honey which is only available shortly after harvest.
By not stirring the honey it stays in it's liquid, natural form.
It's important to note that this honey will cristalize quickly after opening.
Because it isn't stirred, this cristalization will lead to a hard honey which is difficult to eat.
This is a natural process, which the bees prevented in the hive by treating it regularly.
We advise quickly consuming the honey to prevent cristalization.
Our new candles have arrived! - 10.02.24
Our bees started strong and healthy into the new year, while we started producing new beeswax candles.
Cast into different molds, our candles are available year-round(as long as stocks last).
The wax is collected during the honey harvest, but purification and cleaning take time.
Happy new year! - 17.01.24
2023 has reched it's conclusion.
We celebrate a long year with many successes and a rich harvest.
The new year carries, at least for now, few changes.
Our bees have started hibernation and appear to be doing well.
The last of our liquid honey has already been sold, so you'll have to wait until the next harvest if you wanted to buy some.
Until then, only creamed honey is available.
The harvest is done! - 25.07.23
The honey harvest of 2023 is officially done!
Saturday our extractor completed it's last round and completed a year of rich harvest.
It'll be a few more weeks until the honey is available for purchase, as it has to be stirred to achieve it's creamy look.
Liquid honey is already available, as it requires no treatment!
It's important to note that this honey will cristalize quickly after opening.
Because it isn't stirred, this cristalization will lead to a hard honey which is difficult to eat.
This is a natural process, which the bees prevented in the hive by treating it regularly.
